The Alathar Center to launch the first international program in the Middle East to address the issue of the development evaluation

 The Alathar Center launched Saturday on September 11, 2021 the opening of the first program of its kind in the Middle East to be held in the Kingdom for 15 days, in conjunction with ENAP University (National School of Public Administration), and sponsored by The National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector. The program is held online in its first version, attended by global keynote experts in international development.

The International Program for Development Evaluation (IPDE) is a new program recently announced by the Alathar Center, which seeks to get prepared local professionals on how to address current and future challenges with regard to the evaluation of development processes and business modeling by offering a wide array of new evaluation tools and performance monitoring in a bid to streamline decision-making and measure the expected impact. 

The CEO of the Alathar Center has indicated that the holding of the International Program for Development Evaluation (IPDE) for the first time in the Middle East acts as an enabler for the professional development   of participants to join a network of Arabic-speaking development evaluators.

 For his part, His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Adlan Al-Shamrani explained that this program comes within the framework of enhancing the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, achieving its goals in the area of national transformation and evaluating the impact of practices in order to attain sustainable development.
